I feel very good regarding our chances against USC. Evidently, Las Vegas feels the same way.
I am extremely encouraged with what this team has done so far. Let's look at the positives of this team. l-We lost our best defensive player for the season, yet we haven't let it slow us down. 2-In each game, different players have risen to the occasion.
3-Even though they are a young team they haven't lost their poise. 4-They can win ugly games (good teams are able to do this). 5-Three games back we were bemoaning the fact we were down to a six man rotation, look what happens,J. Page has moved into the rotation in remarkable fashion. 6- They are particularly good at protecting a lead at the end of ballgame due to their outstanding free shooting ability. 7-They are an very good passing team. 8-If you stop their perimeter shooting they will kill you on the inside. 9-They are a very good rebounding team. 10-They are able to handle adversity. 11-Yes, they are not the most athletic team, but they are fundamental sound and know how to play the game the right way.
IMO-T. Williams will be in the rotation by the time league play begins and possibly T. Harris, if he is able recover from his injury and get back into game shape.
Yes, they might lose the game, but I feel that this team can get the job done.
Reading some the posters which portray nothing but glum and doom, it makes a funeral an uplifting experience.
