Rahill, as the news article references an $8M figure, my guess is that will all be utilize to develop ONLY the back end of the Pavilion, and could not include the front end push out with that figure. Shocking to some how little $8M goes. I suspect that a phase II to expand the front end to enhance the fan experience and comfort, ie, concessions, large lobby, upstairs improved VIP seating and lounge will be later.

Alameda, living in the shadow of USC in OC, the Galen Center was $119M for the complex. I was there for that SMC v. USC game and the facility was grand, but not a true basketball facility to create a hostile environment like Hass Pavilion or McKeon, etc. Student sections in the end zone were an after thought and it was strictly about getting alumni with large ticket licenses to get a return on the investment.
