I expect that the primary goal should continue to be more exposure rather than money until the recruiting becomes high level across the board.   I think the Gaels run this past year will make the coming contracts less Gonzaga-centric.  The WCC emergence has been at the expense of the Big West.  A combination of factors did them in as their best teams were raided by the WAC (Utah St., San Jose St., New Mexico St, Nevada) and what is now the Mountain West (UNLV).  Moreover, let's face it, Gonzaga has really lifted the WCC profile.  The Big East was virtually created by ESPN back in the early days and it looks like they are eying the WCC as kind of a West Coast counterpart.  It makes sense.
