In fact, I am noting several SI graduates have yet to make their contributions to the board. http://godisagael.yuku.com/contributor/history Looking your way - if the shoe fits.

Yet SMC and Serra thrive in their underdog role, have a small but passionate fan base, and make the most out of their facilities and underpaid coaches. Both of these rivalries are regional given the schools' locations around the Bay Area. Lately, the good guys have been dominating SCU and SI. Let's hope it stays that way.

He also won a Pulitzer Prize. Pretty good work for a retard if you ask me. SI was once San Francisco's golden boy, but it is now a known fact, especially here at SMC, that all stand up guys from the city go to Sacred Heart or Riordan, no question. The current day SI is full of kids from Marin, Hillsborough, and Burlingame. I would actually say that the present rivalry is much more similar to SMC SCU. Serra once had a fierce rivalry with SI, but after defeating their scrub program consistently and turning their focus towards the top tier WCAL teams the rivalry lost much of its luster and intensity, just as ours has with Santa Clara. And the cocky egotism of the SCU fans and alumni which we have all come to hate is completely mirrored by the SI community. SI is a haven and breeding ground for rich suburban kids who like to pretend they are from the city. I personally know 6 or 7 current gaels who are from the sunset neighborhood and graduated from Sacred Heart because they did not want anything to do with SI. Personally, I don't blame them.

Donates a ton to Serra and still stays in contact with his old teachers and coaches. Participates in the Serra golf tournament occasionally. I remember my econ teacher telling me senior year that he ran into Brady and was shocked when he still insisted on calling him "Mr. (Last Name)". This was after he won his third superbowl. Brady donated his Super Bowl MVP CTS, trunk signed by entire Patriot's team, in 2005 as well as football cleats for the entire varsity team in 2008. Seems like a humble, appreciative dude to me. You might have a case with Barry though, haha. Glad to hear your at least from the "old guard" of SI, no shame in that. Did you play basketball for SI / SMC? If so you would have played against Tim Kennedy, Serra (95), who narrowly rejected an SMC scholarship in favor of LMU. He's the head coach at Mitty now. Funny how these WCAL / WCC things go. Also, Serra is 5 years older than Riordan. Possible they made up the song? The sweaters are cute by the way.
