TahoeGael... I was thinking the same thing about Thibeaux. I know he a game scoring over 30 against the Lakers but didn't remember the exact amount and I might be wrong but I think the bulk of his scoring was against some guy named Kurt Rambis... Peter then went on to have some pretty good years in the old CBA winning a championship and over seas.

Bleeding Red and Blue

Patty got in for the last two minutes of the Spurs' rout of Utah, which I take as a reward for his excellent play down the stretch. Blair absolutely loves Patty, as Patty consistently finds Blair on the pick and roll, enabling the big man to rack up some easy baskets.

Bleeding Red and Blue

Another San Antonio rout of Utah (114-83), another solid game for Patty. This time around he got in for 14 minutes (vs. 2 in the first game) and scored nine points on 4-5 shooting including a three-pointer. Those minutes are inching up...

Patty's contract next year is a club/player option????
if it is Patty will be making a lot more money......like 900k isn't a lot....
and for every 5 minutes extra Patty plays he will help lengthen Tony Parker's career

Definitely a player option. I'd think he could earn more than that if he continues his good form throughout the playoffs and does well at the Olympics. That said, I think he's in a pretty good position in San Antonio. Patty is far better off going for a team that is both a good fit and that will play him (ie the Spurs) than chasing $$$ at this stage of his career.

Yeah. He should come back. He could have a career and payday like JJ Berea. Stick with good team for a few years. Take another ok deal to stick in a good role on a winning team. Get overpaid and get a bigger role in 3 years.

I don't know if he can land a miss universe like JJ, but if so bring her to games in Moraga
